Are the products made of genuine or synthetic leather?

All of our products are made from genuine Italian leather in different varieties.

What type of leather do you use for your bags?

For our products we use three different types of leather


  1. Vegetable dyed shoulder cowhide leather.

This type of leather is full grain, which means it has minimal processing and it has the full grain, so no layers have been removed. Its surface exposes the natural grain of the hide. It is hand-dyed with vegetable dyes. The color of the leather deepens with time giving it a rich vintage appearance. 

This leather is made-to-order for us according to our specifications. It’s an excellent and high quality leather.

This leather is recommended for those who want a sturdy, slightly stiff bag.

 

2. Cowhide nappa “SILK”

Nappa leather comes from the top grain part of the hide. It is the most sensitive and natural part. Nappa leather is considered the best leather in the market. 

The leather is very slightly processed so it’s sensitive but also very soft to touch. It’s texture is smooth with little visible grain. Despite its delicacy the leather is 1.2 mm thick so it’s strong.

 This leather is recommended for those who want a soft leather bag.




 3. Full grain vegetable dyed leather

Also a full grain leather but unlike our shoulder leather this leather is soft, not stiff. Despite its softness it is 1.4 mm thick so it’s strong. 

It is also dyed with vegetable dyes and comes in beautiful shades. 

This leather is recommended for those who want a soft, thick bag with a visible grain.


How do I care for my bag?

To care for your bag dust it regularly with a soft damp cloth. To clean, rub gently with a soft sponge and mild soap. We do not recommend you use any creams or greasy products to clean or protect the bag. Dust your bag regularly to keep it looking new. We recommend you keep your bag in the dust bag we provide you when not in use.


 2. Ordering & Shipment


How can I proceed with an order? 

You can proceed with an order by following the steps below:

- Check product characteristics and item description (color, dimensions).

- Once you choose your product press add to cart. For multiple products follow the same procedure.

- To view your cart or continue with checkout press MY CART/VIEW CART. You can add any discount coupons or gift vouchers on this page. 

- To complete your order press CHECKOUT. Fill in your personal details if you are not a member. For members once signed in these fields are filled automatically.

- Upon placing your order, a confirmation page will display your order number. An Order Confirmation with your order details will be sent to you by e-mail. For members you can also check the status of your order by logging into My Account. Click on "Order History" to review order status and to obtain a tracking number.

- Once the order is shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number 


When will I receive my order?

Delivery times to the US and Canada are 2 -3 working days. Delivery times to European destinations are 1 - 2 days. Please contact us for delivery times to other destinations. 

Delays may occur due to customs which may vary from 1-2 weeks. You can check if your package is held in customs for clearance by tracking your order. 


How much will I be charged for shipping costs?

Shipping rates depend on the package size. Below is a brief summary of the pricing.

 Where is my order?

Once the order is shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number which you can track here.  If you chose to pay by Cash on Delivery (Domestic orders only), you can track your package here.

If there is a delay in your order, it might be for the following reasons:

- If they are stopped for customs clearance. This delay may vary from 1-2 weeks. You can check if your package is held in customs for clearance by tracking your order.

- Due to high traffic (e.g. holiday seasons)

- In case it’s impossible to contact you (by phone or by e-mail), if there is a problem with your order (e.g. your data is incorrect or outdated).


3. Returns/Exchanges


How can I return/exchange my order?

We’ll gladly accept items purchased for return or exchange under the following terms & conditions:

  • You must notify us via email or through the “contact us” form within 14 days from the day you receive the item. 
  • To begin the return/exchange procedure fill in the return form. As soon as we receive the return form we will confirm the receipt by email.
  • The product must be received in its original condition and package unworn. 
  • If case of return, the amount will be refunded within 14 business days from the receipt of the product. Refunds will be returned by the original form of payment.
  • The customer will have to pay shipping costs for exchanges. Returns are free.
  • Exchanges are only allowed once.

 

Can I cancel my order?

If an order has been completed cancellation or change of the order can only be done if the item has not been shipped yet. If you wish to change or cancel your order contact us immediately via the “contact us” form or send us an email to info@morellehandbags.com

If your order hasn’t been shipped we will cancel your order and provide you with a refund.


4. Privacy & Security


Is my private information safe? 

Yes, your private information is safe. Data that might be requested from you:

Personal information: Only to proceed with an order, if you wish to become a member or to subscribe to our mailing list. 

Information requested to complete an order: e-mail, telephone number, name, address, payment information. 

Cookies: 

We use cookies when you visit our site. Cookies are small files (text files), that are placed and saved on the user’s device, allowing webpages to work by collecting user preferences, to identify frequent users, to make access easy and to collect data for web content optimization.

Is it safe to pay with my credit card?

It is absolutely safe to pay by credit card. Neither our website, nor the bank stores any of your credit card information.

Is it safe to pay with Paypal

When you use PayPal, bank information is never shared with www.morellehandbags.com. PayPal encrypts and protects your credit card number. Your online payment is processed by the use of only your e-mail and password. 


5. Membership


Why should I become a member? 

If you subscribe as a member to our website you will be able to review your order history, and make your purchases easier. 

How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to your mailing list?

Press here to subscribe to our mailinglist. You don’t have to be a member to be part of the mailing list. You can subscribe/unsubscribe any time. By being subscribed you will occasionally receive emails with news and offers.
